Tribute Program

Honor exemplary students, favorite educators, and appreciated community members who have made a difference in education in the town of Granby through a tax-deductible donation to the Granby Education Foundation.

Each honoree will receive a special gift card from the GEF, noting that a gift has been made in their name. Unless specified as anonymous, the sponsor's name will be listed as well. Sponsors can specify that their gift be directed toward either the Foundation's general fund or toward the GEF Arts Endowment.

In addition, both the sponsor and the honoree will be listed in a special listing in the Granby Drummer and in the Foundation's annual report and web site. Gifts of any size are welcome.

Established June 2011 Nannie Brown Tribute Fund
When Nannie Brown announced her retirement from Valley Pre-School (VPS), her fellow teachers and the VPS board of directors chose to honor and thank her for all she’s done – for the school and for Granby – by establishing the Nannie Brown Tribute Fund through the Granby Education Foundation.  A fundraising campaign for this fund is currently underway and a complete listing of donors will be published at the close of this campaign. (Donations to this fund can be sent to the GEF, P.O. Box 351, Granby, CT 06035. Specify “Nannie Brown Fund.”)
