Planned Giving
Donors may provide lasting support of the Granby Education Foundation’s mission to fund educational initiatives of merit through planned gifts. There are a variety of ways to give such as: bequests, retirement plans, life insurance and trusts. In addition to providing essential support to the GEF, planned giving can also benefit donors and their heirs through estate and income tax benefits.
Evelyn Davis Society
The Granby Education Foundation recognizes all donors who provide planned gifts by naming them members of the Evelyn Davis Society. Mrs. Davis, a beloved third grade teacher at Wells Road Intermediate School for more than 20 years, was the first donor to provide a planned gift, in the form of a bequest, to the GEF in 2005. In honor of her love for learning, the Foundation awards a community grant in her name each year. In appreciation of those donors that carry on her legacy, the GEF hosts periodic Evelyn Davis Society luncheons, registers all members to receive our eNews updates, and includes a list of members in our annual report and on our website.
